Regrooped with original members “Mojo” Norb (the Jaybirds), Sigurður “Fireflye” Snydal (the melt), Znarf “Lord” Hoover  Wise Monkey) and Dav “the Octopus” Whittaker (Baba Simba). The groop`s gritty-guitared, fuzz-bass, deep-drum, space-grooving organ sound is complemented by their occasionally shimmering harmonies and sometimes subtle lyrics. So get ready to rock out to some pop-psyche tunes in the Trance´s very own kaleidoscope freakbeat style! WISE MONKEY Seven musicians. One mission: to get the dancefloor moving. For ten years, Wise Monkey have been rooted in the tradition of British Beat from the 1960s — and have never stopped sounding alive. The seven-piece band weaves organ, guitar, and percussion into a sonic tapestry that spans everything from playful, intricately arranged melodies to the raw pull of garage rock. At the heart of Wise Monkey: two female vocalists whose voices bring a depth and soulfulness to the beat and R’n’B sound that gets right under your skin. Soul meets groove, energy meets craft. A Wise Monkey show is not just something you listen to — it’s an invitation to dance. Ask anyone who’s been there: standing still simply isn’t an option. JACKITUP!
